Preorder Policy

By placing a preorder with Boxed Vinyl, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Preorder Price Protection & Market Fluctuations

Preorder pricing for sealed Trading Card Game (TCG) and other Collectible Card products fluctuates dynamically based on fluid market conditions, distributor allocations, and overall buyer demand.

  • Locked-In Pricing: All preorders are processed and finalized at the price listed on our website at the absolute time of purchase.

  • No Post-Purchase Adjustments: We do not offer price matching, credits, or partial refunds if the retail price of an item decreases on our website after your order has been placed. Conversely, if market demand spikes and the item's price increases prior to launch, your lower purchase price is fully honored and locked in.

Preorder Allocation & Fulfillment

All preorders are subject to Boxed Vinyl's final product allocation from our distributors and suppliers. While we aggressively advocate for full allocations to satisfy our community, manufacturer print runs and distributor cutbacks are outside of our control.

  • First-Come, First-Served Fulfillment: In the event that our incoming distributor allocation is lower than our total preorder volume, orders will be fulfilled in the exact chronological order in which they were purchased.

  • Allocation-Based Cancellations: If your preorder cannot be fulfilled due to strict distributor allocation limits, your order will be proactively canceled, and you will receive a 100% full refund. Allocation-based refunds will be processed within two weeks of the product's official release date.

Cancellations & Returns

  • Customer-Initiated Cancellations: You may request to cancel your preorder at any time prior to the generation of a shipping label. However, all customer-initiated preorder cancellations are subject to a 6% restocking and cancellation fee to cover the non-refundable payment processing fees incurred at checkout. This fee will be automatically deducted from your final refund.

  • Sealed Product Sales Are Final: All sales of sealed trading card and collectible card products like booster boxes and packs are final. To maintain the chain of custody and inventory integrity for our collectors, we do not accept returns or exchanges on these items.

Shipping & Fulfillment Operations

  • Processing Timeline: Preorder shipments will be processed and dispatched within 5-7 business days of the official manufacturer launch date depending on receipt of product from our suppliers.

  • Lost or Damaged Packages: All outbound shipments are fully insured for loss or damage during transit. If your package goes missing or arrives damaged, you must contact us immediately at info@boxedvinyl.com with your order number, full name, shipping address, and phone number. For physical damage claims, you must include photographic evidence of both the outer shipping carton and the interior contents. Failure to provide complete documentation in a timely manner may delay or invalidate the carrier insurance claim.
